What is World of Marin?
The World of Marin is an internet roleplay that has defined the medieval/fantasy genre of interactive writing for the past decade. We have been through many different iterations, but our goal remains the same: to provide engaging, well-written, and above all, creative writing for anyone who wants to join.
We are classically a low-magic, medieval fantasy server. This means that although there are some defined fantasy elements, Marin resembles a world much like our own. Things tend to be more realistic. For example, someone reacting to magic in Marin might have a similar reaction to someone reacting to magic on Earth.
We pride ourselves on our close relationship with our player base. Any questions about character creation, notable events, or general lore can be relayed by any of our staff members. We are always adding new material to the wiki, and we strive to load it with all of the pertinent information necessary to create a cohesive world.
